I agree with the build quality, its not bad but you can tell it is different than the other Moog semis. And the lack of a physical manual is a bummer, i use all of mine. The only time i bother with the pdfs is if im on break at work and need something to read. I know i could print it out, but its annoying. Especially when you see some of the pre-release ones that people filmed unboxing videos for pull manuals out of their boxes....

That was my exact experience too. Going into the local music store as a teenager in the 80s to lust after the synths and one day they had a second hand TR-808 for sale. Same thing, I had never seen one but as soon as they let me try it I knew the sound and had to buy it. I only wish I still had it - it's why I called myself Rolanoid.
